Test Valley Borough Council is
publishing its draft Core Strategy & Development Management Development Plan Document (DPD) and
its draft Designations DPD for public consultation. The Core Strategy sets out the Borough
Council's vision and strategy for the Borough until 2031. It sets out the proposed locations for
development. It also includes policies which will be used in determining planning applications.The
Designation DPD contains settlement boundaries, local gap boundaries and other designations which have
been used to inform the Core Strategy.
Both the draft DPDs were reported to
the Test Valley Borough Council's Full Council meeting on the 10th November 2011 where it was agreed
that the draft documents could be consulted upon. The documents are available on the Test

The public consultation on both
documents will run from the 6th January until 4.30pm on Friday 17th February 2012. Only those
comments received during that period will be taken into account. At the start of the consultation
